We were thrilled to welcome back Weald Alumna, Kit Bradshaw-Haydock, as a guest speaker to inspire our Year 12 EPQ students

Kit, who achieved an impressive A* in her EPQ in 2021, alongside 4 A*s in her A Levels, shared her insights on crafting a successful Extended Project Qualification.

Drawing from her own experience of researching the key ingredients of a compelling political speech, Kit delivered an aspirational and practical talk focused on "Tips for an A* EPQ." Her engaging presentation not only highlighted effective research strategies but also provided invaluable recommendations for managing time, maintaining motivation and building an effective supervisor relationship throughout the project.

Our Year 12 students were captivated by Kit's down-to-earth perspective, and many eagerly queued afterwards to ask her questions, demonstrating their enthusiasm and desire to learn from her journey. Kit's genuine passion for education and her success story served as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved with hard work and dedication.

We are immensely grateful to Kit for taking the time to support our students, especially as she balances her current teaching of GCSE History with preparations for her upcoming degree in Human Social & Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge this September.

Thank you, Kit, for inspiring the next generation of scholars!
