A team of 12 ‘Wokbotters’ put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test at the Kent First Lego League competition at Canterbury University.

The First Lego League is an international competition where teams from all over the world compete to solve a series of robot-based challenges (all based on Lego). The competition itself involves not only programming a Lego robot but also presenting to a panel of judges!

Although the team didn’t win, the judges were especially impressed by their presentation in which they conveyed their message of inclusivity, compassion, environmental awareness and responsibility, and the way in which the girls worked together to design and built the robot.

A wonderful effort by all - well done to: Harrie, Amy, Harriett, Jenna, Haniya, Sophia, Anna, Rudo, Erin, Annabelle, Charlotte and Flavia. You did yourselves and your school proud - a massive well done!
