During our politics trip on Monday 4th November, we were fortunate enough to be able to visit the Houses of Parliament and have a tour around. Once there, we were allowed to sit in and listen to debates in both the House of Commons and House of Lords. We even saw a glimpse of David Cameron! We also had a unique session with the Tonbridge MP Tom Tugendhat who was happy to answer all of our questions (some of his answers I must say, didn't sit well with some of the group!). It was very informative and interesting, as well as giving us an enhanced insight into the professional political world.
