
21 students represented Weald in the Kent Schools Trampolining Championships held at Jumpers Rebound Centre. All students were a credit to the school and delivered some fantastic routines’, with three teams gaining medal positions including some individual podium places!
In the Under 13 Intermediate group, Weald’s A team finished in 3rd place overall after some brilliant performances from students competing in their first ever trampolining competition. The B and C teams finished in 6th and 9th place respectively.
In the U15 Intermediate group, Weald dominated the podium with the teams finishing in 1st and 2nd place.
In the U19 Intermediate group, Mimi wowed the judges with two brilliant routines, awarding her 2nd place overall. Kia competed in the U14 Advanced group, which is a more challenging competition against club competitors and finished in 2nd place. Lily competed in the U19 Advanced group, which again is a more challenging competition. Lily delivered a beautiful first routine, but an error in the second routine placed her 13th overall. And finally, in the most challenging event, the U19 Elite, Annie competed against a tough group and finished in 3rd place.
